So, friends, I wrote a romance book. Yes, my wife asked me to write it. Fortunately, she digs it. Imagining Rachel follows the titled character Rachel and how she navigates a new job and steamy fantasies about a certain dreamy professor.
I'm really proud of this book. I love the characters I've created and the personal feelings they invoke when we remember those once upon a time "love at first sight" feelings. There's the "can't think straight, daydreaming" kind of mindset that sometimes leads to heartbreak or the complete opposite that makes us all stop and smile.
For those of you interested in finding your next favorite romance book, with the second book currently in the works, then this is a great opportunity to become a fan of Rachel and all of her quirkiness.

ReplyDeleteThanks! She mentioned one day about writing a romance. It's her go-to genre. I'd written a few shorts for an erotic horror anthology, and she was like, "Hey, you should write a book?" I had a lot of fun writing this and I've already gotten a good start on a follow-up.
